Beginning with a fleeting nod towards Amber Essence Oil, Androgeny's Child quickly descends into something generic and one-dimensional. With a shimmering frankincense accord that intensifies, it's a rather linear, sweet and balsamic composite of amber, cedar and other resinous woods (while also harbouring an unexpected floral leaning). Unfortunately, the end result is something akin to a budget-priced floral air freshener.
One is still at odds with the origin of the floral attributes, but what could have been a personal favourite ends up being a grave disappointment. Longevity is around four to five hours.
