Comment: Vintage formulation
One had always been curious about the possible existence of an amber oil blend, which successfully manages to embody the olfactory wonders of quality niche amber creations. After trying a few unsatisfactory candidates, Amber Essence Oil has turned out to be the specimen that one was apprehensively searching for.
While seemingly linear, its soft and resinous sweetness resounds throughout both an intoxicating and sensual aroma, with gentle powdery nuances of vanilla. The rock rose infuses a dark, voluptuous and sultry demeanour, while the woody accords are understated but remain vital to the backbone of the composition.
It's opulent, warm and extremely long-lasting, with the main caveat being that it doesn't project that much. Still, with Profumum's Fiore d'Ambra being the closest amber fragrance that Amber Essence Oil resembles, its retail price makes it more of an attractive option for something relatively similar in terms of quality.
After first being released over twenty years ago, one is extremely surprised that more haven't sung the praises of this excellent (and yet timeless) rendition.
