Parfum Satori is a Japanese niche fragrance house and Mother Road 66 is classified as a citrus-aromatic.
With a soft peppery and herbaceous citrus opening, the galbanum isn't very discernible and the rosemary adds a subdued mentholated nuance (although it lingers for longer than expected). As the lavender materialises, the clove-infused sweetness gradually increases courtesy of a foundation of amber, woods and musk.
Contrary to the official notes, it's not particularly powdery during the drydown. However, it's much too timid and uneventful that its degree of powderiness (if any) goes completely unnoticed. Composed for men, its projection is minimal and longevity is below average.
