Comment: Musk Blue is part of the Basic Collection and is only available in Japan

Parfum Satori is a Japanese niche fragrance house and Musk Blue is classified as a floral-musk.

Marketed as a masculine release, it initially reveals a prominent mandarin accord before the floral and aromatic aspects of the composition are brought to the fore. Pulsating a blue-tinged astringency throughout, courtesy of the violet, the aroma ranges from the pages of a glossy fashion magazine to a detergent freshness. And all the while there's a coniferous nuance from the pine.

Whilst the violet is present throughout, the remaining florals are rather discreet but undoubtedly play their roles effectively (particularly the iris). Eventually regressing into a soapy ambery mire, it's an interesting concept but comes across as too synthetic.

Unlike most of its siblings, projection is somewhat better but its tenacity still remains underwhelming.
