Year: 2010
Notes: Calabrian bergamot, Paraguayan petitgrain, Tunisian neroli, Moroccan orange blossom, Chinese pink pepper, African frankincense, Haitian vetiver, blond woods, musk
Comment: Bois Blonds is part of the Collection Originale
With Atelier Cologne's modern renditions of Eaux de Cologne (albeit at higher concentrations), there's bound to be at least a couple of unspectacular offerings...
With a distinct peppery opening, which initially overwhelms both the neroli and orange blossom, Bois Blonds is basically a woody-musk fragrance. However, it also smells progressively less compelling as it further evolves – featuring traces of frankincense and vetiver that adorn a cashmeran musk base.
Although it smells natural, it also leaves one unmoved. With discreet sillage and longevity of approximately two to three hours, it's a rather forgettable release.
