Chypré Fruité is a dry chypré that isn't particularly sweet, which is rather surprising going by its name. It's also refined, powdery and sophisticated without being stuffy. However, the base is very thin and nondescript, leaving it devoid of the richness and complexity one would normally expect from a chypré. Also, a lingering wax accord is perceptible that, ultimately, cheapens the entire composition.
