Aromatic Lime is a hesperidic-woody-aromatic that fails to contribute anything new or interesting to Montale's non-oud line. In fact, it smells like something Sisley would have released, merely coming across as a hybrid of Eau de Campagne and Eau du Soir.
Possessing below average projection and insufficient lasting power, it doesn't smell as natural or sophisticated as the aforementioned Sisley creations. As for the lime itself, anything close to this accord couldn't be clearly discerned. Furthermore, the composition is more woody and herbaceous than what the name suggests.
Smelling more masculine than unisex, it's probably wiser to pay a little extra for a Sisley.
