Comment: Amber & Spices is part of the Intermediary Collection
There was once a time when almost every Montale release was worth investigating. Those were the days when the chances of encountering a fragrance that challenged personal perceptions, as well as the olfactory senses, were high probable. Amber & Spices is nothing but an embarrassingly insipid offering. There are certainly spices present but hardly any amber at all. With minimal projection and average sillage, deeming this linear creation as pedestrian would be granting it more praise than it actually deserves.
