Iris Homme by Parfum Satori

*****
Year: 2010

Notes: lemon, blackcurrant, prune, elemi, violet, jasmine, iris, vetiver, sandalwood, musk

Comment: Iris Homme is part of the Black Collection and is only available in Japan

Parfum Satori is a Japanese niche fragrance house and Iris Homme is classified as a floral.

Launched as the masculine counterpart to the successful Silk Iris, Iris Homme is an earthier and slightly more adorned re-interpretation, possessing a fruitier prologue. The jasmine is just as effective as the rose in Silk Iris, exuding a milkier aromatic facet, while the vetiver replaces Silk Iris's ethereal frankincense.

With regards as to which one is superior, it really depends on personal tastes. But, in saying that, Iris Homme offers a more obscured iris yet is just as well-composed. Once again, it stays extremely close to the skin and lasts a good four to five hours.
