Comment: Margherita is part of the Ti Amo Collection

The Ti Amo ('I love you' in Italian) collection was the debut fragrance collection by Italian perfumer Hilde Soliani. It comprises of five fragrances, with 'TI AMO' being an acronym that represents the first letter of each of the five releases (all of which are the Italian names of particular flowers):

T = Tulipano
I = Iris
A = Anemone
M = Margherita
O = Ortensia

In addition, the flowers listed above weren't randomly selected, as each one encapsulates a cherished emotion or memory. Margherita symbolises her childhood and is also her favourite flower.

It's a jovially verdant offering, which employs the galbanum and ivy to impressive effect during its initial stages. Although there's a floral bouquet at its core, any potentially overt feminine flourishes are temporarily delayed by the lily of the valley – temporarily reinforcing the fresh, radiant and sanguine elements first encountered.

With a sandalwood-infused musky drydown, it's an unassuming yet respectable creation, with moderate sillage and average staying power.
