Comment: Hanbury is part of the Classic Collection

Inspired by visits to the Giardini Botanici Hanbury in Ventimiglia Imperia, Italy, Hanbury is also dedicated to the founder's daughter-in-law, Lady Dorothy Hanbury, who ensured the garden's survival after both world wars.

With a short-lived citrus burst, there's a subtle yet strange bitter greenness from the acacia. As the florals and honey temper what went on before, one is soon left with a dull orange blossom type aroma. The ambery musk foundation is never far away and increases with vigour as the other accords gradually dissipate.

Overall, it's both an uneventful and generic citrus-floral, with traces of synthetic musk ultimately prevailing.
