Aphrodite's Love Oil is a beautiful floral-oriental, using Amber Essence Oil as a foundation and supplementing it with a more balsamic and floral presence.
Commencing with a burst of rose and geranium, the rose accords are fervent, rich and vivid – further highlighted by citrus-aromatic nuances from the rose geranium. The white florals quickly emerge to share the centre stage, intensifying their creamy properties alongside the amber and Peru balsam. With regards to the woods, they are largely unobtrusive but become more noticeable during the sweet powdery drydown.
With decent longevity of around six hours, and more than adequate projection, it ranks amongst one's personal favourite amber essence oil blends from this house.
