Located away from the hectic tourist centre of Florence, somewhere along via Pietrapiana, is a small perfumery that stocks dozens of niche fragrance brands. Christened l'Ó, it also exclusively sells its own creations that are largely every bit as good, if not better. Unfortunately, Il-Logico isn't one of them.
Initially, the aroma it exudes smells deceptively like a fig-laden scent. But with some patience, the clarity of the accords becomes apparent, as a subtle floral sweetness reveals itself. Consisting of an unconventional array of components, it's too abstract for its own good. With a mediocre woody base, which increases its intensity over time, the only compulsion one feels is to shrug one's shoulders.
Sillage and lasting power are both underwhelming.
