Year: unknown
Notes: lemon, watermelon, pear, eucalyptus, water lily, lotus, Bulgarian rose, white jasmine, cedar, musk
Comment: Suiren is part of the Basic Collection and is only available in Japan
Parfum Satori is a Japanese niche fragrance house and Suiren is classified as a green-floral.
After sampling it a few times, it comes across more as a fruity-floral with mild green undertones. The juicy pear and watermelon aren't as raucous as they could have been, with the presence of any eucalyptus being close to negligible. The florals are well-integrated, and allowed to circulate and breathe. In addition, with the presence of a smooth cedar accord, the composition doesn't degenerate into a syrupy pubescent mess.
Overall, it offers nothing particularly new but it still remains one of the better releases from this house. However, those expecting something either robust or tenacious will be sorely disappointed.
