Year: 2009
Notes: grass, Indonesian cocoa, Damascus rose, Bulgarian rose, English rose, vanilla, woods
Comment: CiocoRosissimo is part of the Profumo e Gusto in Libertà Collection
As a homage to an old chocolate fondant recipe, which incorporates sweet basil liqueur, CiocoRosissimo is an unusual combination of a dark and dusty cocoa chord fused with a rose attar.
The cocoa slowly disperses to reveal the subtleties of the different varieties of rose, as a creamy vanilla rounds out the proceedings. With a soft woody base, all the accords soon meld together with comparative ease.
With low sillage and below average staying power, it's quite a compelling offering. Sadly, it's way too expensive for what is essentially a fun scent.
