Year: 2008
Notes: grapefruit, freesia, Damascus rose, cistus, moss, musk
Just for the record, there's nothing dark or animalic about Rose Noir at all...
Instead, it's a vibrant, quite jammy and relatively linear rose fragrance, which fails to distinguish itself from other department store offerings of this ilk. And not even the addition of moss is enough to instil some earthiness, let alone sufficient darkness.
It's both inoffensive and bland in its conservative demeanour, with disappointing longevity and projection.
