Disregarding all the contrived marketing spiel about being dedicated to emancipated and sophisticated women, Trama was largely inspired by "rich lace, silk and childhood memories found in an old suitcase, full of beautiful memories". Wait a minute! Wasn't this olfactory concept already explored, the previous year, by Maria Candida Gentile's Exultat? Hmmm...
While Perle di Bianca displayed some admirable qualities, Trama doesn't even come close. Allegedly based on rose and white florals, it's nothing more than a generic aromatic woody-floral with dominant woody notes. As for the oriental base, it provides some extra sweetness as the composition evolves but it's just not enough.
Devoid of any personality, it's a mediocre release with reasonable sillage and staying power.
