With a bright and vivid rose opening, Lady Vengeance is a dense and feminine rose chypré that has been done many times before. While Agent Provocateur by Agent Provocateur seems to be the most popular comparison, one is unable to pinpoint which actual fragrance provided the 'inspiration'. But, if nothing else, there's definitely something rather generic about it.
Consisting of a spicy patchouli and smooth vanilla base, it's a reasonably well-blended composition but it also lacks anything distinctive or memorable. As a result, it's nothing more than a modern-rose-chypré-by-numbers, and smells more like a high-end designer scent than an expensive niche offering.
With longevity of at least six hours and minimal projection, one expected a lot more from this (allegedly) niche perfume house.
