Unfortunately, Ambra most definitely isn't one of the best ambers ever encountered...
While it's not too sweet or cloying, the composition is more about birch tar than the actual amber accord. With a dominant powdery quality, there's hardly anything rich, resinous or even sensual about it. It's disappointing, as the general high standard of Italian niche amber fragrances would have suggested otherwise.
