Year: 2005
Notes: cardamom, Indian spices, frankincense, ebony, vetiver, sandalwood
Wood and spices it most certainly is not, especially with regards to any traces of woods (which is pretty much non-existent). Instead, it's more of a syrupy sweet concoction, comprising of citrus, spices, cardamom and not much else. It doesn't smell overtly synthetic but, at the same time, it's not that impressive either.
It's one Montale release that seriously needs to be renamed.
