Yoru no Ume by Parfum Satori

*****
Year: unknown

Notes: apricot, clove, lily of the valley, red plum flower, rose, cinnamon, woods, balsams, sandalwood, musk

Comment: Yoru no Ume is part of the Basic Collection and is only available in Japan

Parfum Satori is a Japanese niche fragrance house and Yoru no Ume is classified as a woody-floral.

Opening with a lovely jammy pairing of apricot and clove, the lily of the valley gatecrashes the party and adds a degree of sobriety to the proceedings. The rest of the florals gradually reveal themselves, collectively emitting a subdued plum aroma. As the floral aspect gradually wanes, cinnamon-infused woods appear as reinforcements against a faint balsamic musk canvas.

It's an unusual, yet pleasantly sweet, offering targeted towards women. But, as to be expected with this house, it's certainly no powerhouse by any stretch of the imagination.
