Notes: citrus, orange blossom, rose, flowers, patchouli, musk
Created to evoke King Midas' lavish gardens of citrus fruits and roses, Asprosa is a hesperidic woody-floral that commences with a dominant orange blossom accord. But the citrus is surprisingly flat, devoid of any sparkle or vitality, as the rose tentatively emerges but fails to create a memorable impression. With a demure woody-floral base, its sweetness duly intensifies towards the concluding drydown.
Overall, it's nothing particularly special, generating very gentle sillage and average longevity. If there was a little more presence, and a greater clarity from the citrus notes, it might have been awarded an extra star.
