Year: 2010
Notes: cardamom, star anise, galbanum, jasmine, white flowers, iris, cedar
Comment: Porcellana is a limited edition release
Released to celebrate this house's 400th anniversary, Porcellana is both a masterful and accurate replication of the smell of porcelain.
The accords are so well-blended that it's quite difficult to dissect the composition but, at the same time, one is completely in awe with its nostalgic aroma. With the iris and jasmine being the more discernible notes, it has the rare ability to crawl through the recesses of one's mind – unlocking nostalgic and long-forgotten memories, stemming from one's childhood.
With moderate sillage and good longevity, it's an astounding and highly evocative olfactory creation.
