Well, Frédéric Malle should be given some respect for releasing something so avant-garde and abstract. Sadly, with regards to Dans Tes Bras, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's actually any good.

After a fleeting citrus opening, the emergence of a musty mushroom note later fuses with a powdery violet. The heliotrope smells akin to melting plastic and, throughout its seemingly linear development, there's a continuous barrage of synthetic aromas weaving in and out of the composition, like a freshly ironed polyester shirt. As for the drydown, it's a soft and radiant woody-musk, with faint traces of salt (or salicylates) and florals.

With almost no projection at all but very good longevity, it serves as an ode to the aroma of warm human flesh after a brief moment of... sordid indiscretions. It's also highly reminiscent of those bizarre and ridiculous fashion outfits, showcased at designer fashion shows – interesting but impractical and completely unwearable.
