Black Afgano is a dry, smoky and medicinal woody-herbaceous fragrance that ends up smelling like a pathetic caricature of one of Nasomatto's previous releases, Duro. Not only does it smell rather crude but it also comes across as rushed and unfinished, severely lacking in any elegance or artistic substance.
As for any olfactory association with cannabis, marijuana or hashish, none can be discerned within this highly contrived mess. It appears that the ludicrous press release about 'smuggled' ingredients and the blackness of the liquid (which has been purposely dyed for the sake of its ill-conceived 'resinous' concept) was nothing more than a lame attempt, to draw further attention to both a vulgar and lacklustre creation.
Don't believe the hype.
