1826 (Eugénie de Montijo) by Histoires de Parfums

*****
Year: 2001

Notes: bergamot, tangerine, ginger, cinnamon, violet, white flowers, patchouli, vanilla, amber, frankincense from Jakarta, blond woods, white musk
1826 is one-dimensional concoction, smelling like a synthetic strawberry fragrance with subtle citrus top notes. The woody-incense drydown eliminates some of the girly sweetness, but it's far too underwhelming and generic to be taken seriously.

Overall, it smells like a fruity-floral fabric conditioner or (even worse) something by Ramón Molvízar...
