Year: unknown
Notes: lily of the valley, bitter almond, heliotrope, vanilla, sweet woods
After the piercing marzipan introduction, from the lily of the valley and bitter almond coupling, A Lot is basically a straightforward creamy vanilla offering.
It's not too dissimilar from Alyssa Ashley's Vanilla, albeit more tenacious courtesy of the heliotrope. Initially, its quality enables it to rise above the slew of budget-priced vanillas, but there's hardly much discernible difference some moments after application. As a result, its price tag brings into question whether an Eau de Parfum from, say, Des Filles a la Vanille would be just as sufficient for a lot less money.
With very good sillage and staying power, it's a well-composed gourmand. But its simplicity puts it in danger of being considered close to generic.
