Tuberosa by Santa Maria Novella

*****
Year: 1939

Notes: tuberose
Tuberosa begins with a dry, sweet and yet creamy aroma. It's beautifully delicate and ethereal, with possibly a hint of jasmine added. By the mid notes, the tuberose transforms into the archetypal accord that one is familiar with, before a buttery and subtle green drydown ensues.

One has tested most of the Eau de Colognes from this house and, while its sillage and longevity are not the best, one must warn you that their lovely creations could put you in a precarious financial situation.
