Cologne Bigarade by Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle

*****
Year: 2001

Notes: bitter orange, aldehydes, cardamom, pepper, rose, hay, cedar
In contrast to the more intense Bigarade Concentrée, Cologne Bigarade is a less piercing orange scent. Where its successor is spicier, denser but just as refreshing, it's slightly brighter and more ethereal. Unfortunately, its performance on the skin is too ephemeral for one's tastes, being barely detectable after half an hour.

Based on its price, as well as the existence of Bigarade Concentrée, Cologne Bigarade is simply an overpriced Eau de Cologne.
