Whilst not being an ardent admirer of musk scents (especially those of the non-animalic variety), experiencing Muschio has been both an olfactory and personal epiphany.
Setting aside the primitive skank of animal musk and the sterile cleanliness of synthetic white musks, Muschio is a very addictive vegetable musk that's rich, creamy and highly seductive. This sultry elixir starts out smelling like caramelised fudge and vanilla, with a warm touch of bourbon. As the composition develops, all the accords meld into one, creating an evocative butterscotch aroma with a subtle underlying bitterness.
With discreet sillage and good longevity, it's one of the best musk fragrances yet encountered.
