Ginestra by Santa Maria Novella

Year: unknown

Notes: bergamot, lime, Scottish broom, orange blossom, oakmoss
Based on Scottish broom flowers, usually found around Western and Central Europe, Ginestra is a wonderfully bracing rendition of this green-floral, which also possesses a honeyed hay-like accord. Combined with citruses and oakmoss, the overall olfactory result is very similar to the aroma of juniper berry.

Unfortunately, while its sillage is impressive, its longevity isn't the best from this house. Still, regardless of this fundamental flaw, it would make an excellent summer staple for unrelentingly hot days.
