Another Juliette Has a Gun release, another perfume creation blatantly ripped-off (but tweaked ever so slightly, in order for charges of plagiarism not to firmly stick).
With Calamity J, this sultry patchouli-iris-vanilla composition is almost a dead ringer for Chanel's Coromandel, but with the chocolate accord more muted. It's now reached a point where this houses' degree of originality, as well as individuality, is so glaringly bankrupt that one can no longer make a concerted effort to write something more substantial about their 'creations'.
If you're looking for a cheaper alternative to the aforementioned Les Exclusifs de Chanel release, this may very well appeal. Apart from that, here is where this fragrance review ends.
