Rose d'Amour is a vintage-smelling aldehydic rose fragrance. At the beginning, it smells both damp and musty, before descending into something uninspiring and soapy. However, it's the alluring base of nutmeg, vetiver and moss that saves the composition from being a complete disaster.
As always with this house, its sillage and longevity could have been a lot more impressive.
