Year: 2008
Notes: violet leaf, Bulgarian rose, oud, nagarmotha, patchouli, sandalwood
Aoud Shiny is a weaker re-interpretation of Attar (minus the saffron), with the rose gradually surrendering to the emergence of violet leaf (which smells similar to that of lime). A leathery oud component weaves throughout the composition, while the drydown is a mild woody aroma.
Ultimately, it simply comes across as a watered-down hybrid of Aoud Lime and Attar. Unsurprisingly, it's also the least preferred of the three.
