Notes: Calabrian bergamot, Sicilian mandarin, blackberry, raspberry, strawberry leaf, Bulgarian rose, ambergris, white musk
L'Artisan's Mûre et Musc redux – that's pretty much the best way to sum up Fruits of the Musk.
With a discreet citrus opening, it's more of a tart strawberry musk fragrance, while the other berry accords play supporting roles (although the blackberry does come to the fore, albeit briefly). It's impressively long-lasting and possesses satisfying sillage but it isn't as sophisticated as L'Artisan's rendition of the same theme. In addition, the rose is strangely absent.
It's worth investigating but it isn't a true representation of what the name suggests.
