Comment: Deluziont les Hommes is an Arab Gulf states exclusive

Sometime in 2006, Montale released six fragrances, exclusively available to the Arab Gulf states (three for men and three for women). Deluziont les Hommes was one of them.

With a subtle saltiness permeating throughout, it's a soft and sweet woody-floral that ensures its woody-musk drydown doesn't intrude all too soon. While predominantly jasmine-based, one is delightfully surprised that this accord isn't promptly tempered or defused by a 'less feminine' component.

Although somewhat ethereal, there's also an earthy creaminess lurking underneath – perfectly complementing the jasmine while providing an extra dimension. Unfortunately, the composition eventually migrates too far into designer fragrance territory, once the woody aspect increases its influence. Furthermore, it's a little too unsure of itself, with both the savoury and sweet aspects occasionally clashing with each other.

Regardless of this, it's still an admirable release with fairly decent projection and good longevity.
