Gaggia by Santa Maria Novella

*****
Year: unknown

Notes: citrus, mimosa
Gaggia is a lovely mimosa rendition that starts off with a pungent bergamot opening, coupled with resinous and herbaceous undertones. While it's initially dense, it's also invitingly vibrant and this aspect lingers through to its soft and powdery drydown. But what's most interesting is the occasional emergence of a mentholated accord – not only is it compelling but it also adds a further dimension to an already impressive creation.

With decent projection and longevity, this house certainly produces wonderful florals and soliflores.
