1969 (Parfum de Révolte) by Histoires de Parfums

*****
Year: 2006

Notes: citrus, peach, cardamom, clove, rose, white flowers, patchouli, chocolate, coffee, white musk
1969 is a very unique and quirky gourmand that has more merit than its siblings.

It starts off with a rather eccentric fruity and cardamom opening, before allowing the florals to further accentuate its unorthodox nature. The emergence of sweet and earthy accords of chocolate, coffee and patchouli round off the composition with sufficient flair and panache, while the musk base enhances the overall experience.

Unfortunately, it's not as long-lasting as one would have expected but it's certainly one of the better, and more interesting, offerings from this house.
